Heart Health Study

You are cordially invited to take part in the "Heart Health Study". The comprehensive examinations will take place at the Friede Springer Cardiovascular Prevention Center on the Charité Benjamin Franklin campus in Berlin-Steglitz on two days to be arranged 7 to 14 days apart (no inpatient admission).

Anyone between the ages of 18 and 70 (inclusive) can register for the Heart Health Study.

The investigations within the scope of the study include 

  • Imaging of your heart and blood vessels
  • Breathing and movement analysis
  • Blood tests and genetic parameters
  • Gut flora composition
  • Bone density measurement
  • Genetic parameter
  • Mental health and cognitive testing

Become a participant!

Our Heart Health Study is currently in the pilot phase. This is the first trial phase of the study, in which processes and methods are tested and optimized for the main study at a later date. However, due to the high level of interest, all places for the current pilot study are currently taken.
New registrations are automatically placed on the waiting list for the main Heart Health study from the beginning of 2027.
