Heart attacks are unnecessary.
In my original professional home - ambulance and rescue services - I encountered people with completely preventable illnesses on a daily basis. From an emergency medical point of view, we are certainly well equipped to help - it is only in preventing cardiovascular events that we seem to fall short of our capabilities.
My primary goal is to bundle, coordinate and implement the multimodal approach of the individual FS-CPC researchers at the grassroots level, to rethink and establish processes, but above all to comprehensively examine the participants of our Heart Health Study in the study center on a daily basis.
I am firmly convinced that expertise in a subject scales with passion for the subject itself. Creating medical progress cannot be an exclusively academic task.
We knock the dust off research and make it tangible. Only by translating research work into people's everyday reality can we create a lasting effect.
At the heart of the FS-CPC, the study center, we work with a multi-professional team of study nurses, technicians, students, doctors, psychologists and researchers to promote people's heart health, valuing all personal expertise. We are writing the future.
