Bita Astan

I am a bioinformatician and have specialized in data science since 2023. In my position as a Data Scientist at the Friede Springer - Cardiovascular Prevention Center, I focus on the analysis of large and complex data sets with a focus on the prevention of cardiovascular diseases. My goal is to gain scientific insights that help to develop preventive strategies, improve the precision of diagnostic procedures and enable tailored, individualized preventive measures.

Using advanced statistical methods and machine learning algorithms, I identify patterns and risk factors in the data that contribute to prediction and prevention. Through my commitment and expertise in data science and bioinformatics, together with my team, I promote the development of personalized prevention approaches that have the potential to sustainably improve cardiovascular disease prevention strategies. Our aim is to closely link scientific research with clinical practice in order to implement innovative and effective preventive measures.

I am particularly interested in combining extensive data analysis with in-depth medical knowledge, as this allows us to create more precise risk profiles, develop tailored prevention plans and optimize the efficiency of preventive measures. This interdisciplinary approach enables us to better understand the genetic, molecular and clinical aspects of cardiovascular diseases and thus pave the way for revolutionary advances in preventive medicine.
